Do my QR codes get uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your data — URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details — never leaves your device and is never sent to any server.
What QR code types are supported?
9 types: URL, plain Text, WiFi (WPA/WEP/open), vCard contact, Email (with subject and body), SMS, Phone number, Geo location (latitude/longitude), and Calendar events in VCALENDAR format.
Can I embed a logo or image in my QR code?
Yes. Open the Customise panel and upload any image file. The logo is drawn centred on the QR code. Choose square or circle clip shape. For best scan reliability, use error correction level Q or H when adding a logo — it compensates for the covered modules.
How do I generate QR codes in bulk?
Open the Bulk Generate accordion in the left panel, paste up to 100 URLs or text values (one per line), then click Generate ZIP. A ZIP file containing individually named PNG files (qr-001.png, qr-002.png…) downloads to your device.
What is error correction level and which should I choose?
Error correction allows a QR code to be read even if part of it is damaged or covered. Level M (15% recovery, the default) suits most use cases. Use Q (25%) or H (30%) when embedding a logo. Use L (7%) only when the code will be printed very small and nothing will cover it.
What browsers are supported?
All modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. JavaScript must be enabled. The Canvas API and Clipboard API are required — both are available in all evergreen browsers.
